2026 Proposed Service Changes

HART is considering changes to routes for summer 2026, and is seeking public feedback.

Following a full review of the system, these proposed adjustments would make HART more efficient and productive by putting our limited resources in the best place to succeed.

Your feedback is important and will help us determine how to best meet the community’s needs.

Route would increase frequency to run every 30 minutes weekdays.

Route would improve reliability by adjusting schedule to arrive on-time more often.

West Tampa
The last eastbound trip (11:25 PM to Marion Transit Center) would be removed, seven days per week.
Route 24LX
FishHawk/South Tampa
Route would no longer be in service.
Use Route 360LX as alternative from Brandon (J.C. Handly Park-n-Ride) to Downtown Tampa and MacDill Air Force Base.
Route 25LX
Bloomingdale/South Tampa
Route would no longer be in service.
Use Route 360LX as alternative from Brandon (J.C. Handly Park-n-Ride) to Downtown Tampa and MacDill Air Force Base.
Route 37
Brandon/Netpark
The loop to HCC Brandon would be removed (route would stay on Falkenburg Road).
Route 46
Brandon Blvd.
The last westbound trip (10:45 PM to Brandon Mall) would be removed, seven days per week.
HARTFlex South County Route would no longer be in service.

Provide Feedback

The comment period has closed. The HART Board of Directors will consider the Proposed Service Changes at the February 2026 Board Meeting alongside all comments received during this process.
